Intense ruby color with pink highlights. Dense aroma of small fruits (blackcurrant, raspberry) combined with sweet characters (dried plum, jam) and notes of nuts while, in the background, the characteristic minerality of the variety. Full in the mouth, slightly oily, with cool acidity and lively, yet elegant, tannins that give it the prospect of aging. Intense aftertaste of black fruits and licorice that lasts. Ideally served at 16-18oC accompanying yellow cheeses, meats cooked with spicy sauces and game. It is a wine with great aging potential. The use of a carafe is recommended
