Wine that comes from grapes of contracted winegrowers of the local Mavrodafni variety of Kefallinia that are cultivated in a traditional way in the Mavrodafni zone on the Paliki peninsula at an altitude of 50 - 150 meters. Also in this zone there are significant differences in soil types and the age of the vineyards is over forty years. A dry Mavrodafni with exceptional interest, perhaps one of the best of its kind. The produced wine has excellent density and coloring ability as well as delicious tannins. The character is rosy, vinous, with a long aftertaste that reveals aromas of ripe forest fruits and vanilla influences. Bottling does not include any other processing, so you may see sediment in the glass.
