Rich aroma of ripe fruit (cherry, fig and blackcurrant) that marries harmoniously with aromas of ageing, wood and cinnamon, adding complexity. Well-structured, with finesse, soft tannins on the finish and a particularly long pleasant aftertaste.
Roasted red meats, such as lamb shanks, raisin and nut shank accompanied by aubergine puree. Accompanying cheese is xinomyzithra. Served at 16 - 18 °C.
